Mario Kart 8: Flower Cup (Review)

We are now continuing this review of some of the best tracks of Mario Kart 8. You’re now also getting hype for the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Nintendo Switch, but let’s see these tracks one more time as I make an impression for these awesome tracks that I love the most.

Mario Circuit

Based off the Mobius Strip seen in the game’s logo, this track features an Anti-gravity feature that has you riding through the track upside down. This track features the famous Peach’s Castle. This track also look like an infinity shaped track which is kinda fun for turning left and right. Also watch for goombas that are on the track that you might get bumped while racing. This track is so fast on 150cc and 200cc for me. Boosts your kart to make it on top.

Toad Harbor

Inspired by San Francisco, this track is a town along the ocean, complete with steep hills and a trolley system. At certain points, players can ride along the wall or take the traditional route on the ground. This is look like a Toad city celebrating a fiesta on the track. The vibe is nice. Perfect for summer. I love the soundtrack because when you listen to it, you feel like you’re on a beach or building sand castles.

Twisted Mansion

The track has multiple sections, including a main house area of ghosts with two levels, the top one of which can only be accessed via glider, a library with sharp turns, an underwater section, and a garden with statues that try to hit you with axes. Now people are always debating on this if the track is the hardest track to play in Mario Kart 8 or not. For me it is a 50-50. You just gotta nail those tight turns and drifts to pull this off.

Shy Guy Falls

Ride up and down waterfalls as you make your way through the Shy Guy mining grounds. There are lots of shortcuts to rely on this track but it needs mushroom to do that. Cut through the small patch of grass on the second turn on the track to shave off a few seconds. There is also a shortcut once you enter the gliding section after going down the waterfall, aim for the small passageway above the main track. After the gliding section, use a mushroom before the next turn to ride off a ramp that bypasses the upcoming turn on your way to the finish line.

More tracks are coming along your way. Video credits to GamerJGB. Go check his Youtube channel guys. And please do sure to tuned in for more of my track reviews in Mario Kart 8.
